‘Being’ is the single most common short-stop among the intellectuals: ‘Men of The Mind.’ And the first Intellectuals were the Men and Women of Religion. Those who have gone further stop at the Self-Eating Expression [See Post].

In Exodus, Moses asks The Presence Its name and The Presence replies: Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh: ‘I am that I am…thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you‘. The first of the Ten Mosaic Commandments is a claim to ‘Being’: ‘I AM the Lord your God..’
‘Being’, like ‘Thought’ and ‘Voice’ and ‘Consciousness’ is very, very close to our skin. But precisely because of its nearness to our skin it is that much more difficult to give workable examples.
